Default 997.1 Carerra with GT3 Hood

Hey guys!
I bought a 2005 Carrera base with ceramic IMS fix. Very low mileage (38k).
However, I just realized that the wing I like so much was either mated to a GT3 hood, or came as a full assembly.
This means that the trunk fan has been deleted, and there is an opening that goes straight into the intake snorkle.
This also means that the ram air is not hooked up, since it's on the other side. I'm worried about water getting into the engine, as well as robbing power since the air isn't direct.
My question is, are there any products to rectify this? Or is there a solution anyone else has done?

If thats an OEM GT3 engine lid/wing {which it looks like it is} its worth big money. I'm sure someone will reach out wanting to trade plus cash for the proper setup. What you need is the 997.1 aerowing. I had one on mine, It has the correct intake deck you need. If you find one and need the correct fan, I have a perfect fan.
Post number 3 is the cover you need.

thank you so much. Do you reckon I should list it here? Also, is there anyway to confirm it is a
OEM lid/wing? If I can get the silver OEM hood, I will buy your fan for sure

Thanks, yeah it seems to be legit. Kind of makes me want it more haha.
Do you know, offhand, if you could potentially use a GT3 airbox or a K&N kit for a GT3 to adapt? Otherwise I will make that trade you mentioned.

I would ask on the 997 GT3 forum. They will be able to steer you better. Post your pick and someone will be of help.
