Window Regulator, I Presume?
Folks,
On a nice day, I put the top down on my 06 S cab and the passenger side main window was acting up a bit. It finally went down and no won't come up -- I can hear the motor and it tries to "push" the window up but the glass doesn't even get past the door seal. It will go all the way back down (albeit a centimes or two) when I push down on the switch. I tried removing the fuse to see if it would "reset" itself but no dice.
Prior to this it was not dropping all the way when you opened the door, just very slightly so it would slightly rub the door jam when you closed the door. So, is this presumably the regulator?
Thanks!

Yes, likely the regulator.
If you are mechanically inclined, not really not that difficult a DIY repair, but somewhat time consuming. You have to be patient, and you have to have the right tools. You have to take off the interior door panel, and without the plastic trim removal tools you risk breaking the connection points.
Not sure what it would cost from a shop.
Good luck!
