If you get really serious about racing get a Hans device to work with the helmet.

 

Great choice; just keep in mind that in five years you may have to replace it, since it's Snell15 rated; most car clubs will only allow a 10 year gap. And +1 million on the Hans device. Protect your most valuable asset: your head.

 

+1. The Simpson Hybrid Pro Lite looks like a fantastic unit, especially with the optional seatbelt anchor attachment. If you are driving at or close to limits, I don't think you can do enough to protect your brain bucket!
