Which part of Colorado? There are lots of opportunities to meet your fellow Porsche owners through PCA, and through Porsche Breakfast Club.

Pretty sure he's in Evergreen. I'm in between Porsches at the moment, but would be happy to meet up for a top down drive. One of my favorite local routes is:
  • 285 South to 67 (via Foxton if you're feeling adventurous)
  • 67 through Buffalo Creek, Deckers then to Woodland Park
  • 24 South at Wooland Park
  • North on 77 past Tarryall back to 285
I did the first half of that drive (almost to Woodland Park) as an out & back last weekend and it was beautiful.

I’m in Evergreen too - so I’ll probably see you around town! There are two 991 cabriolets in Mahogany Brown Metallic up here. I don’t know the other guy, but I see him driving occasionally.

Happy to get together for a drive! I sometimes make the loop up over Squaw Pass, past Mt. Evans, down through Idaho Springs, and back. It takes a little over an hour.

I live in Golden but am staying at a B&B in Evergreen this weekend for a little anniversary getaway with the wife. Original, more extensive travel plans got scuppered by COVID.

Will be doing a little 911 driving around the Evergreen/Idaho Springs/Guanella Pass area - more sightseeing than spirited driving since it's with the wife!

Nice! I hope you enjoy our little town!

Guanella pass is an awesome drive, especially since they resurfaced the road a couple of years ago.

I highly recommend Bistro at Marshdale if you’re looking for a good restaurant with the wife.

We love Guanella Pass... Squaw Pass to Idaho Springs, Peak to Peak to Estes Park... So many great roada to drive, and all relatively close!

In Parker and would love to get out with a group and drive. Another pretty route down here on the south end of town is south on 83 down to Monument, then over to Palmer Lake and back north on highway 105. You could then make a left at the highway 67 junction in sedalia and head up to Deckers and around to the Buffalo Creek drive folks referenced above.

Thank you so much for the restaurant recommendation! We just ate at the Bistro for dinner and it was FANTASTIC. For some reason this place didn't come up in our own restaurant searches so I'm glad you mentioned it. First dining out experience since COVID started!

Also, were you parked along the north side of 74 this morning (somewhere between Revival Brews and Little Bear) with the top down? If so I saw your car on my way to Guanella Pass! Figured there can't be too many black 997.1 cabs in Evergreen!

I don't live in Colorado, but every time I am out there, I have to stop and visit Porsche Colorado Springs. Love that dealership - wish they were here in Dallas! Oh, and yes, your roads are way better than ours!

I'm down! Send me a PM if you guys pick a time. I'm usually in the 996 forums so I don't check here regularly.

I'm in the Denver area.
