The only issue with buying a tube of gummi or shin-etsu is that you have to include it in your will. A regular-sized tube will last several lifetimes for the average automotive hobbyist.

The applicator is an imprecise way to apply / direct the product onto the various shaped surfaces. The applicator stays affixed to the bottle - meaning that you have the length of the bottle to contend with in trying to get into some of the tighter locations. I thought it was unnecessary at a minimum - but also detrimental to getting the job done.

Yes. It's supposed to arrive later today. (Amazon.)
I understand that the size of the tube as it appears on Amazon is much smaller looking than it actually is. Will end up being a lifetime supply I think.
