Default Airbag Deactivation Kit

My wife is expecting a baby (Yay!!). I'm keeping my Porsche (also Yay!!). I want to do the LATCH and airbag deactivation kit but my dealer can't seem to find the right part number. Does anyone that has done it have the right part for a 2006 997.1 C4S?

Congratulations on the new one on the way. I have done this upgrade to my car and although it is a 997.2 the install is the same.

Okay the picture did not show up with the part numbers. Please IM me your email address and I will send you the Install PDF with all the information you need. I also have some parts I did not use that you can have if you want to just pay shipping.

Not sure the part number but Sun Coast has it listed. Says Boxter but I clicked it from the 911 area.

Yes that is the kit, but PM me and I will give you some of the components as I did not use them. Oh yeah you will require a trip to the dealer to get it activated too.

I'm planning to install this switch. Can you share with me why you have extra components after your install? I plan buying the full kit with the latch

My youngest is 9 and I did not need the metal tether attachment as I do not need a car seat. Also it comes with the center console light that says if the airbag is on or off. I am pretty sure all cars have this light so I was a bit puzzled why they included it. Super easy to install although the plug can be tricky to find. Let me know if you have any questions.

Can someone confirm the correct part number?

I think part number is 997-044-800-15 ,but I also see -13.

Specifically, I want both the latch and the key switch.

Hi I'm just trying to order the correct kit, and to figure out if I need additional parts. I'm using that 987 Cayman install manual you posted. It says that the kit is either -13 or -15.

I could see on the install manual where you may have extra parts left over. I just want to make sure that if I order the kit there's no additional parts needed for a 997. Can you also confirm the part number and whether it should be
997-044-800-15 or
997-044-800-13

Thanks for your help.

I have a 2008 997.1 Turbo Convertible and want to install the passenger airbag deactivation kit, but I can't find this required part - 997-044-800-15 Mounting kit. My local Porsche dealer and all the other parts places I've checked online say Porsche no longer sells this part. Anyone have any ideas where I can get my hands on one?

By any chance do you have the rest of the instructions for this, please? I managed to purchase the kit but it did not come with instructions. Thanks!
