Hi everyone
I hate the sound of cracking plastic.
I am trying to remove the driver seat on my 997.2
What is the best way to remove it/slide it off/pry it off?
I notice on the front there are little tabs cut into the plastic. Does that have anything to do with it?
I can move the rear part of the front covers off the side of the metal seat rail but that is it.
Any help would be appreciated!

Definitely do not pry them off.
The little inset tabs are key to removing them. Use a smaller bladed screwdriver and push in on the tab. While pushing in on that tab, wiggle / slide the part forward to remove it.

 

You want the little tab on the top to bend up so slightly and then the caps slide right off. Use small flat head and pry it up and slide it off...only takes a mm or 2 of play.
