Trying to determine source of the leak above the pan for the Triptronic ATF Fluid.

That's pretty old caked on oil. When's last time transmission was serviced?

That's a good question. I bought the car 18 months ago and have not had the transmission serviced. It has 95K miles on it and I use it as a daily driver. Should I get the transmission serviced? So I guess the good news...is that looks like an old problem...but maybe my transmission fluid is low?

With that mileage and unknown service history I'd service the transmission. There are YouTube vids that'll show you the process if you're a DIYer.

Probably one of the paper gaskets for the transfer case or the o-rings on the aluminum connector
