We also did two weekends at the huge big city food bank. It was disgusting. Huge skids of donated product, leaky, rancid liquids, broken bags of flour and dog food. Most of it went into the pig feed.
Do consider a cash donation. There is much less labour involved, and the food bank can buy food WAY cheaper than you can. Plus under the current situation, I'm sure they don't want to see anybody, and most likely have staffing issues too.

Tomorrow is meals on wheels day - I must admit, I'm a little nervous. We will all be loaded with masks, hand sanitizer and gloves. But the old people really need to be fed. No contact, deliver and run. Clean the car when I get home. Change cloths immediately and off to the shower.

On the mod angle. If your trying to help your indy. Concentrate on high labour time options. Cross pipe is expensive and not a lot of hours for the indy for your $750 budget Oil change? reasonable profit. Spark plug and coils? lots of labour. PDK/tanny service? Differential service?
