Default Another 991.2 steering wheel swap on a 997.2

My first personal mod. Didn’t know I wanted/needed this until seeing others here putting newer wheels on their 997s. Really like how the new wheel looks and feels. Picked up a Multi Function (MF) PDK wheel locally from an tow-truck driver and converted it to a Manual non MF wheel. Found an airbag on EBay. Thanks to RodH and Howellm70 for helping me piece together the trim pieces to convert the wheel. Install was straightforward however the airbag release was a little difficult with an allen wrench. A small flat head screwdriver with a handle made it much easier.

Before surgery

Swapping out the trim and removing the PDK paddles

Refreshed 997.2 interior

Top! I'm planning on doing this one soon as well. Doesn't look too difficult to do if you don't have to worry about getting multifunction to work. What phone magnetic mount is that?
