Any good sources for a mechanics manual?

You can get. Subscription to the Porsche manual and pay by the hour. It's not cheap. But once you learn to use it it gives part numbers, diagrams, and instructions. And it is always up to date.

Or get one off eBay. Those are ones where people download as much as they can and sell it. Those are hit or miss. But cheap.

There are others that can be gotten off Google Drive as well if you hunt around. Recommend getting the PET (Parts manual) as well.
