I've read a bunch of old posts on this but wanted to get some current opinions. Just picked up a 997.1 C2S and plan to remove the PCM and install a modern touch screen. My car has Sport Chrono but no Nav. I've spent some time playing around with the PCM and also the controls on the steering stalk and it doesn't seem that i'll lose anything at all when pulling the PCM. Is this the car or are there functions I've over looked? Thanks guys!

 

I'm not sure if you will miss anything. I have mine set to Trip all the time and I think the Nav is useless. Never use it. My sport Chrono has been stopped to display '911' and that's all I use it for.
I just like the OEM Nokia phone look and added a Dension for music and hands-free phone.
My family car has CarPlay and I really hate every bit of it.
