Hi all,

I just purchased a 997.2 c2s a second time (traded in my gt350). The way the c2s drives is something that you just cannot forget. Anyway, after I got home from the dealer I notices that there are some carpeted linings in the front truck that are missing. I am not able to find which parts fit there (part numbers) so that the dealer will buy them for me. Does anyone know what is missing from the attached pictures and part numbers if possible?

Try the PET (aka parts catalog): https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/p...he/997-2/532u/

The frunk setups for different models (C2S, C4S, etc.) are have different floors, linings, etc.

PS I think this is for your model: https://www.porschemarinparts.com/v-...ront-structure

Thank you for the quick response. I have the C2S. Not able to find how it looks OEM to compare. I get so many liners but they do not look OEM. Did not think this would be so complicated

I added another option to my post:

I think this is your car (I guessed 2009?n C2S). By the way, the guys at Sonnen are really helpful and good OEM prices online.

Great. Thank you so much. I will call them and ask. It is a 2012 C2S.

On another note: how did you like the gt350? I was cross-shopping that car before I went for the 911..

Good car overall. The highlight is the engine. What an amazing engine. One of the best engines I have driven. And that sound is just intoxicating. However, it is a different driving feel compared to the 911. The car feels big and a little floaty compared to the 911 where it is planted with virtually no blind spots. It took 2 months to realize that I miss the 911

Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think you are missing any liner. Those components (air pump, tire sealant, tow hook) are in a tray which folds up against that partially bare bulkhead to be locked upright as to hide the components, using two little twist-lock buttons in the tray (the underside of the tray as you are looking at it) which engage the two circular cutouts in the bulkhead/liner. I may be misinterpreting, but that is what it looks like to me.

From the research I have done so far, you are right. I think the only thing that I am missing is the cover for the kit (part #997.551.123.03). I am going to pass by the Porsche dealer so they can take a look and tell me what all I am missing. The dealer promised to pay for the missing parts.

I agree w/ Reelbigandy. I do not think you are missing any carpeted lining.

If the underside of that tray is carpeted, then I don't think there is cover missing. The kit will live between the foam side of the tray and the bulkhead when you fold it up against the bulkhead like a murphy bed. Hard to tell from the picture, but maybe one/both of the twist-lock buttons is broken and that is why it is folded down. Check your owners manual for more diagrams of how everything fits in there.

@ReelBigAndy You are absolutely correct! I just went outside and double checked and it is exactly as you say. One of the twist-lock buttons is broken but that is about it. Thank you sir. I made a big deal out of nothing, but I am learning. Thank you again!

If you think the GT350 has an intoxicating sound, wait till you get better exhaust on that C2S.

That is next on my list. C2S is just too quite. Any recommendations that are priced within reason? Was looking at the SharkWerks center muffler replacement. I am assuming the sound is also different given the engine configurations (GT350's flat plane made it so special).
