WTB: 997.2 Pdk base or s in SoCal
No black cars
interior must be black or 2 tone black red. No light interiors
rest i don’t care. Paint work ok too if fully documented.

Looks like everyone is sitting on their 997.2s here, but there are typically black ones available on Gurus, Cars.com or Autotrader.
Checknout PCA national car locator as well.
A great place to look is Sonicautomotive.com. They actually have good 911s at great prices.
I would honestly rather purchase from a Porsche dealer or another high end dealer like a Mercedes dealership than from a private individual.
Why? Because Porsche dealerships are generally likely to send a basket case car off to auction or wholesell it rather than mess with bringing up to spec. These are the types of 911s owners try and sell outright because of low ball offers on trade and these are the types of 911s that end up at odd places like Carmax. By odd, I mean they are not being traded in to CarMax, but being dumped there.
