CCU Button Backlight Out 997.2 - Help Request
I noticed just one of the backlights is out on the four button CCU panel on my 2011 997.2. This is the four button array: AUTO FOOTWELL FACE-VENT WINDSHIELD.
I tried to attach two photos but can't seem to make it work. The culprit button is the far right WINDSHIELD button. It has a triangle icon on it pointing up.
I did a search on this and a lot comes up on switch replacement on the 997.1 but can't find a procedure for this issue on the 997.2. I assume I'd have to purchase the four button array as a unit.
We've had the PCM out so I assume the procedure would be the same - remove side panels to access these center console components.
Wondering if someone has had an occasion to deal with removal and replacement of this part. And if anyone could ID the part number needed.
Thanks for any help.

Sent the CCU off to BBA Remanufacturing in Massachusetts after giving them the part number. They replaced the backlight that was inoperative and turned the unit around in five days. Very nice people to work with and $200 versus over $1000 at the P dealer

Options to BBA
Resurrecting this thread. BBA’s voicemail states they are shutting down permanently. Has anyone found an alternative to them for repair of the climate control unit? The backlight is out on my defroster button. I don’t really want to spend a grand for a new unit to replace one bad light.
