Default 997 2008 turbo electrical questions

I just purchased a 2008 911 turbo and I have a few questions.
1 does the sports chrono dial have a digital clock in it? Or is that small led screen just a stopwatch digital indicator?
2 when the car’s headlights are in fog mode is there any asymmetry in the lights on the rear? With my vehicle there are 3 bulbs illuminated on the drivers side and only 2 on the passengers side.
I’m getting confusing responses from my Porsche dealership.
thanks in advance

It's a digital stopwatch and yes the extra light on the driver rear is normal.

Did you get an owner's manual with the car? Google around and you can probably find a PDF of the Carrera owners manual. You probably won't find one for the Turbo but the Carrera manual should answer 95% of your questions.

You've got an amazing car, please do some serious research, get to know it well, and take good care of it.

Here's one for a 2010 997.2 Carrera. Not quite the same but most of it should apply

Thank you for your help. What is the purpose of the asymmetrical lighting display on the rear lights?

It's a European thing. When a car comes up behind you in heavy fog they'll be able to easily tell where it's safe to pass from the single driver's side foglight. If both sides had lights and the driver side burned out it could cause confusion. Plus only having it on one side helps distinguish it from the brake lights.
