Default OEM Bluetooth Phone Quality

My 2009 C2 did not come with the Bluetooth option for hands free phone use. I’m thinking of getting the OEM option installed by dealer. Suncoast has the PCM 3.0 Bluetooth kit for $500, plus whatever dealer wants for install.

For those with the Bluetooth, how does it work? Any known issues? Trying to gauge if worth the $$.

2009 C2S 147K miles

Sucks. I use a Plantronics (Legacy model ??), over-ear bluetooth ear plug with a small boom microphone. Fabulous. The car/phone bluetooth interface is simply awful. Don't even think of conducting business on it.

I punched a small hole in the back corner of the cubby and ran two USB charging cables. One is for my phone, the other my bluetooth headset.

Peace

I installed the Mr12Volt (LApower) and it works fine for iPhone and music off of phone. There are many threads on this subject.
