convertible top on '07 Carrera fails to open
My buddy is having issues with the roof of his '07 997 Carrera,.
According to him, sometimes the roof it worked properly and sometimes did not, and finally now stopped working all together...
He is Not mechanically inclined, and I help him out with the oil changes, brake services etc., but unfortunately the car is not really close to me for a close inspection..
However, being on my second Cayman ownership I don't have any experience with the Porsche convertible roofs (actually do not have any convertible roof experiences..),
the obvious perhaps would be to start checking the fuses, the switch, and..?
Could someone please provide a simple troubleshooting guide on what to check? Thank you in advance!
