Default 2006 997.1 nav drive

Does anyone recognize this unit? It is installed in my 2006 997.1 C4S. It encloses the nav drive and audio amp. I believe it was an oem installation. The drive has failed (it won't eject the dvd), and I want to remove the drive to repair or replace. I do not want to remove the head unit. The problem I am right now trying to solve is: How is the cover removed? I have spent hours searching the web, but have been unable to find anything related to this issue. Brute force does not seem to be the answer. (I have tried many ways to extract the dvd, but all have failed). It seems to be mounted to the back wall of the frunk, but I have not found any sort of clamp, bracket, etc. holding it in place. If you know, do I have to remove all the frunk panels in order to expose the attachments? Is a Porsche extraction tool required?
