Hello,
All of a sudden a strange noise started coming from the front of the car when the ignition is on or when I pull the frunk child release lever inside the frunk. The noise appears to be coming from the part in the photos. The part is on the left of of the frunk release latch. Does anyone know what this part is? Thank you in advance.

 

Looks like it would be the solenoid/actuator for the front hood release.
