Thanks to Balr14 for photoshopping this for me. My original Lobster fork wheels in top photo and below with gray centers and silver lip. Which one do you guys like?
I personally think black wheels have had their time... Your car is beautiful and IMHO the black wheels detract from the wonderful color and overall look of the car. They just darken the entire package up. Again just my thoughts... either way great looking car

Thanks for the feedback Matt. I think you may be right. Perhaps it would look better with maybe a lighter shade of gray, but I agree that black would detract from the midnight blue color of the car.
I like stock. Looking at the pics you provided, makes me realize how a polished lip on dark wheels almost makes it look like you have all black wheels and tires with a white sidewall. So definitely silver for me.
The dark centers hands down look better... silver lobs are just boring unless you have some other aesthetics done, such as lowering and bumper upgrades. My opinion👍
The visual weight is more balanced with the addition of some contrast within the wheel. The grey presented here is a bit darker than I'd choose, but having the additional contrast does improve the look either way.
Interesting how everyone has a different opinion on this. Thanks for your input. I do think a lighter grey would look good. The only thing that would bother me with my OCD tendencies is that the contrasting lighter silver colored TPMS valve stems (I don’t want to have to have my TPMS valves painted to match each time) and wheel weights on the wheel might bother me, but maybe I’m reaching for a reason not to do it. Lol.

A lot of people paint the inside of their wheels black, no matter the color of the outside of the wheels. That way, no contrast is to be seen and you dont see the weights and all.

But wait, if the inside of the wheel is black, since the wheel weights are silver, doesn’t that clash?
I'm generally not a black wheel guy. Even less so on a blue car. It's ok on black or dark grey if you like the sinister look, but I prefer the silver look.
Now body color is a whole different story! Love it - I think the dark blue wheel looks really nice and would certainly be unique which is hard to do!
