Being 997-Less
 

Being 997-less has definitely given me more time to fantasize about naked women instead of what a Bore-Scored cylinder looks like.

Sounds perfectly normal until you start fantasizing about bore scored women or presidential speeches.

I'm no longer worrying about bore scoring, IMS issues or leaking seals either, but I do still have to worry about rod bearings, vanos, rear subframes and other certain doom. No platform is perfect :)

Just be sure you don’t break your ims while fantasizing

I still have my 997 and I never stopped fantasizing about naked women. Is that something that happens when you get old? ;)

Ever been to one of those German or Swiss thermen bads where 70 & 80 year old women walk around naked?

It will end all of your fantasies for at least a few days to a few weeks depending on if you get just a glance or a good look.

Sounds to me like 993. Don't forget clogged secondary air injection ports and valve guide wear :)

Same here, my track car is a E36 M3 with a S54 swap. Previously had worries / nightmares with the C6 Z06 and valve guides :(

Naked women and 997s are all I think about. But I feel for you Groove....not bad things to think about at this age!
