I'm no longer worrying about bore scoring, IMS issues or leaking seals either, but I do still have to worry about rod bearings, vanos, rear subframes and other certain doom. No platform is perfect

Same here, my track car is a E36 M3 with a S54 swap. Previously had worries / nightmares with the C6 Z06 and valve guides
