Default Saving Readiness / Codes Monitors during battery swap

Have you used a cig lighter plug in "charger" to save the readiness codes / monitors when swapping a battery?
Which one worked for you?

Please only reply if you know it works from actual experience.

No guessing :-)

Thanks

Craig

This not the answer but after 3 or 4 days of driving under different conditions the readiness codes will be re-populated if you are concerned about passing emissions inspections.
