HI KG - as far as I can tell it's 1 of 1 for .2 Turbos. According to the North American production sheets there are only 3 PTS non-metallic 997.2 Turbos (2010-2013)
I have my doubts though, I've seen a number of other flat PTSs that give pause to the 1 of 1 claim.
This car first hit my radar in 2018 on a BAT auction but I didn't have the money at the time having just paid cash for a 997.2 C4S cab. I stalked the buyer a little bit and even offered finders fees but had no luck. An then by sheer luck, I got back from a trip to Europe and looked one Saturday AM and just happened to be the first caller as the consignor has just posted the ad. Pure luck and Tony Robbins crap. Rare in life, even rarer in my life.
The car was in Portland at Avant Garde Collection - good guys - Matt and Josh.
I had no leverage to be a 'shrewd negotiator' - I knew I wanted the car - had a preset range I was willing to pay and the ask price was in that range. Sold.
Here's the thing though - be careful what you wish for. The C4S I had was a 100% joy to own and drive. It felt like an extension of my body and capabilities. The direct response of an NA especially in sport mode just matches me precisely.
(this is not a criticism of any or perhaps minor lag in the turbos - which I would rate as only a noticeable issue from a dead stop idle. When rolling and in sports mode it is non-existent in my view)
This car is different, and not in any way am I bragging or boasting. But to hit the accelerator in this car with Sports mode on is almost a life and death decision. In less than 7 seconds, you're going 100mph +.
In fact for private reasons I don't want to get into, I am unable to do a 90% or > acceleration in sports mode at this time. I am working on addressing that and hope to openly discuss it a later time.
With all of that said, I am happy to have the car. The color was the thing for me and the incredible photos I saw in the BAT auction had me hooked and obsessed with the disease we all share in common. Porschephillia ?

PTS Azure Blue. First pic gives a better idea of true color - other pics make it look a little darker. Don't @ me about the missing piston ring bit of the right side of my 'Die Welt ist flach' decal.
