i am new to this 997 group... i am looking to purchase a very, very low mile 997 turbo, is 2009 the year that it was less produce? does it even matter? thanks for feedback in advance

2009 was the last year of the Mezger motor in the 997 Turbo. Many believe that's the sweet spot ... 997.2 with Mezger. Especially if you are going with a manual transmission. The Mezger does not line up with the PDK so if you're looking at an automatic you're also looking at the Tiptronic. Many will say that's not bad. Others will disagree. Transmissions create a frenzy in this Forum!!!
