Question for those how have installed a GT3 or duckbill spoiler on your 997
I just installed a OEM rep of the 997.1 GT3 trunk on my 997.1 C2S. How do I code out the spoiler and the brake light in the spoiler? I was able to get the spoiler coded out but I still get an error of the dash for the center brake light on the original spoiler.
It's easier to find someone with a durametic and code it out. I rented one on eBay for 90 bucks for a week. Coded the wing off and a few other things while I had it.

Was is only the coding you had to do or did you also have to buy another wiring harness?
Someone fixed the problem jet?
I bought the extra wiring and did the coding, without success.
When I installed my Getty duck tail spoiler I needed a new deck lid wiring harness and had to visit a dealer / indie with a Porsche code setting tool (I forget the name of it) to have the spoiler configuration changed to "fixed wing". This eliminated the rear spoiler failure alarm that would go off when the car exceeded 75MPH
Do you happen to have the part number for the harness you bought? I have the my car programmed for fixed lid but still get the error for the center light in the oem spoiler that raises.

My indie has this computer laptop (don't know the name) that connects to the OBD2 port in my car, and set the spoiler warning light to "fixed wing". It took about 20 minutes, seemed like.
