Your 315/30/19 Pilot Sport Cup 2 show a Section width of 12.6" and a tread width of 11.5" - a 'rounded' ratio
The 295/30/19 PZero show a of Section width of 11.9" and a tread width of 11.7" - a very 'square' ratio
While there seems to be a lot of love for Michelin Pilot 4S, they also have a 'rounded' profile, hence why I am shopping for Pilot Sport PS2 in 305, which has a Section width of 12.3" and a Tread width of 12.2", almost the same as the same sized PZero - 12.3"and 12".
Makes a big difference in how these tires look and fill wheel wells. I struggled for a while looking a Eibach lowering results - some cars look barely lowered, others look perfect, the difference is the tires.
Thank you for the explanation and input, makes sense now. What measurement is identified by the 295 or 305 . . . ?
Look at the rear tire differences . . . its crazy. I added a picture for comparison. My rear wheels are also 12x19, and I mounted 315/30-19 Mich Pilot Sport Cup 2 . . . your Pirelli 295/30 actually look wider on your wheels.
I really like your BC wheels - great choice!
Thanks! Yeah, the Pirelli's have a very wide contact patch for 295's. I have a friend with 305 Sport Cup 2's on a 11.5" wheel and his look way more stretched.

That makes sense now. In the winter, I run Pirelli SottoZero's; rears are 295/30 on stock 11.5 rims they look just right - to my eye. Knowing that the Pirelli's run a little wider, and purchasing 12" rears, I assumed going up to a 315 section tire would be spot on. I like my set-up,
but the 315 is still a little stretched. When the Cup 2's wear out (won't take long) I may move to 305 PZero's or Michelin PS2's.
Did you adjust toe and camber? If so, what are you running?
Also, did you have to roll your fenders to avoid rubbing? If so, is there a recommendation you'd have to not have to roll the fenders (e.g. lower only xx inches or go with less offset or width on wheels etc.
That rear stance made my day. Simply perfect! Now I can't wait to have my set of RS31 installed. I'm glad I went with BC-forged, they seem to get only good reviews. I also have to say that the customer service of BC-forged NA was exceptional.
A quick nod of respect for Peter here. I am about to pick up my 997.2 Carrera and going through the upgrade plan and wheels I have been through as many pictures as I can on the net, for me the BC KL12 is for me the sweet spot of weight, offset flexibility and looks, money no object a set of HRE Classic 300. But this for me will be a fun daily and I have a budget to keep to. Really interested that the offsets work, the C/L is close to 15mm spacers with a broadening of the wheel to pull the tyre.
I'll be going 12x19 and 9x19 in black but probably run 3-4mm less offset so I can run 305 and possibly 245 in matt black on a Carrera white C2 (KWV3, X-pipe, short shift and Alcantara wheel and a few interior tweaks) I'd like to upgrade the seats just don't want to over spend....
