BBS E05
Fellow Rennlisters - I am looking for some advice. I am close to purchasing some BBS E05 wheels for a 997.1 Carrera S (NB). I currently have stock lobster forks and running 18mm spacers front and rear.
Question to you is - what should the offsets be front and rear for the BBS E05's? I plan on going 19x8.5 front and 19x 11 or 11.5 in the rear. I am cautious that they need to clear the brake calipers (which are stock) and I am looking to achieve as much dish as I can (especially in the rear).
I am an offset noob so I would appreciate as much help as possible.
PS - Because I live in Australia I need to be super careful about getting this fitment absolutely spot on. However, am I right by saying that if the wheels come and I have made a mistake with the offsets can they easily be adjusted because they are a 3 peice? what is involved in adjusting the offsets? is it a straightforward task?
Thanks heaps.
Nayg.,

Start here: https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/
With 3 piece wheels you're able to mix and match parts (inner barrel, outer lip, center) to change the size, thus changing the offset. In order to figure out the offset for a particular combination you'll need the dimensions of the centers from BBS. You'll likely need to discuss your goals with whoever is selling the wheels so that they can find a combination that will maximize the dish while not hitting the fender/suspension.
That said, post pictures when you get them on.
I've only ever found pictures of one 996, one 997, and one 991 with E05s.
