BMW sedans are top notch daily drivers. Stick with the six cylinder engines, though, with a moderate tune if you want a little extra zip. Always get the M sport package. Buy CPO, two years down in the depreciation curve. Also consider the 3 series AWD touring - most excellent car to spend commute and daily use time with. Good luck.
