Yes it did come with the factory short shift. Eerily exactly the same specs!

My trans wasn't rebuilt though, to my knowledge. Nothing in the records for the 51k miles before I bought it at least.

Any idea what the symptoms were that led to the rebuild? I've been reading more about rebuilds on here than I would expect.

Kool! Identical twin girls !!

I questioned that . Apparently it was a bad syncro on 5th gear .. Was getting hard to shift into 5th .
So they decided to just rebuild the whole transmission and installed a new clutch .

Il tell ya , that tranny feels good and tight , feels great with the
short shifter ...that was the hook that pulled me in ...

I recommend Durametric for the diagnostic software and I have a Fabspeed Stage 2 tune in my Cayenne Turbo S with a lot of intake and exhaust mods. I'm not sure what a tune will do for you if the car is stock but there's another current thread here with a member tuning his stock car and taking dyno numbers before an after, so look that up and it will give you some info as to whether a tune on a stock setup buys you much. I think he is installing and testing this week.

I also have some custom polished Champion wheels for sale if you're looking to change from the stock wheels when you move to the GT3 bumpers.

Enjoy her, they're awesome cars.
thanks for the info .. ya , don't think there will be much gain with out the other support mods .

I have to recover the funds some though , lol . This put a dent in my account . Snd I also just did a full race suspension upgrade on my BMW .

If if you can send me a link to those wheels would be great . Would like to take a look at them ...

Actually they didn't detail under the hood . Which I did like to see it was untouched . it was just a little dusty and that's it .

I lhate a dirty engine bay , and keep my vehicles clean under the hood .

This is how I keep my engine bay on my 2005 BMW 545 .
I'll keep my new baby looking the same way ..
