997 Radio static full volume blast with Kenwood radio off

997 Radio static full volume blast with Kenwood radio off
2005 Carrera S - Kenwood aftermarket Radio
Even though radio off and shows as off FULL Volume Static Blast - will not pick up any signals. Removed Radio and Speaker fuses otherwise cannot drive because of noise...any suggestions. I don't know if related but now aftermarket alarm goes off when turned on...in off position no issues.
Been nice if previous owner had left it original - terrific car though
