Help with engine number?
I'm hoping someone could run this VIN: WP0AA29986S715524 and tell me the corresponding engine number?
It's my understanding that only 'S' models from 2006 have M97 engines (with the larger IMS bearing). Can anyone help me confirm?? The car I'm looking at is a base C4.

Yes, Many M96 engines were made with the larger bearing. Watch this video and it will explain everything.
