Default Loose front air intake plastic trim

The lower front center air “intake” piece (black plastic insert) keeps coming loose at the bottom and I’m trying to figure out how to get it to set properly the way it’s intended. Its hard to get to it to set it - do I have to take the bumper off?

Yes from what I recall when I installed 3rd radiator kit. It's just underneath the cover and I recall it's sandwiched in there. I have the piece someone and can check for mounting holes.

The center section is clipped in on the inside of the front bumper.

I recommend you take the bumper off. That's really the only way to fix the loose piece for good. It's not that difficult but you need to take your time, especially with the sliding clips that are near the frunk safety latch.

Yeah it looks like the bumper has to come off to do it right. I think the clips may be a little loose. Hmm..
