Was able to do a few stretches today getting to highly illegal speeds again and guess what, no noise
The only thing I did was fiddle around a bit with the plastic covers above and next to the battery and the pieces of plastic that run along the outside of the trunk, tucked that stuff a bit underneath the trunk seal. Somehow that must have been it although nothing was visibly out of place. The only other difference compared to Sunday's drive is that at that time the tank was 2/3 to 3/4 empty and filled her up earlier today.
