I recently purchased a 2006 Carrera S.
Why can't I find a printed copy of the factory service manual for this vehicle to purchase?
I've seen lots of links to downloadable versions, but I have no idea which ones are legit.
Has anybody used any of these downloads?

I have never seen a hard copy before. Everyone just uses the soft copies you can purchase off of eBay.

There isn't one. 997 'service manuals' are basically digital step by step instructions via PIWIS. Actually pretty cool when you see them at the dealer now. Search here on RL. Someone posted a PDF version as an attachment a while back.
