Lucked into some calipers from a 996 4S and was wondering if they fit my car? I’m thinking yes but possibly needs a larger rotor disc? I’d be going 330 to 350mm I THINK???
Has anyone tried this? I figure once my current discs are worn I would swap these in with new SS FVD lines, fresh pads and upgrade to girodisc rotors plus kill a cv click I’m hearing all in one shot.
I’ll test fit ASAP but wanted guidance from anyone who has done this.....
I may be mistaken, but I understood there was a difference between base Carreras and Carrera S/4S uprights. What I dunno is if there AWD Carrera uses a similar upright to the 2WD Carrera, or if it's the same as the S cars.
I was told today by longtime tech at dealer that .2 4S is carried forward to . 1 AWD cars ONLY of next generation as a rule. I’ll test fit these but I’m betting they fit. Tech is checking parts compatibility for me tomorrow at work. Wish I had the girodiscs already.....
