Lightbulb ODB failed for DMV Emissions

Posting this for those who may encounter similar issue..

Brief backstory... my car would occasionally throw CEL (random misfire cyl 1 2 3 4 5 6) on cold start as choke backs off (since traced to using Platinum MGK spark plugs instead of Copper). This set a 'not ready' flag for the emissions test and therefore car could not pass state emissions test.

After clearing the CEL and Drive cycling several times (near on impossible on regular roads) and much frustration, it transpires that the Flag could only be set to 'ready' by using the PIWIS system.

Im sure there are others with different solutions but this is what happened to me, or rather, my 05 997 C2.

Many thanks to My local indy (the fantastic Dougherty Automotive in West Chester PA) for getting to the bottom of problem that has bugged my car for years.

Sounds like a sticky choke is not the only thing that got lost in translation: a misfire cannot set a "not ready" code. Any idea which of the readiness codes was not able to pass?
