Paid $45k for my 2006 C2S 6spd w/ Sport Chrono and full leather a bit over three years and 12,000 miles ago. Been a great car with only normal maintenance and tires needed. If someone offered me my $45k back I MIGHT have to think about it only because I have automotive ADD. That said, not sure what else I’d rather have for the same money in its place.

Excellent discussion, I bought a 997.2 C2S, 6spd last December with a transferable CPO because I couldn’t find a 2018 GT3 allocation.

Stopped by the dealer to have some service completed on my GT4 and 981 Boxster, the 997.2 was on the lot and I immediately scooped her up.

The build was my perfect spec, see below.

I sold the Boxster back to the dealer this past spring and the GT4 last month, simply wasn’t using either car.

In the 2.5 years that I owned the GT4 managed 4400 miles, including 3 or 4 HPDE’s and about 8000 miles on the Boxster in two years of ownership.

Put about 4000 miles on the 997.2 in the first six months, clearly a preference.

It was either drive the 997.2 or my 911SC, of course whenever I drove the other cars they were quite enjoyable but they just were not getting used like they should.

This past week I was able to order the 991.2 GT3 that I wanted and am contemplating letting the 997.2 C2S go.

So the real question is should we hang onto the 997.2 or let her go and if we sell where is the market?

Do you think 60k is unreasonable, seriously?

37,000 miles and growing, transferable CPO through 12/19 with unlimited miles.

Have not made a decision yet but I am considering the possibility.

Opinions are welcome.

Thanks
