Default Fabspeed Air Intake in California

Are there any California 997 owners with FabSpeed Air Intake on here? What is your experience with CA Smog Check Test? No problem passing the test? Thanks.

Reasonable probability of failing the visual unless the aftermarket parts have official CARB stickers.

I don’t believe the Fabspeed intake is CARB certified.

To my understanding, it's a simple 15minute swap back to the original intake.

Will not pass visual. Confirmed with Fabspeed that their intakes are not CARB exempt for 997's.

I had my K&N intake fail visual and after confirming with K&N and Fabspeed that they don't have CAR exempt intakes for 997's I returned my car back to stock.

The Fabspeed intake should be really easy to swap with an intake part; but along with the questionable heat soak i'm going to pass on the $900 investment.
