Rear view mirror coming off?

Hi guys, this car is new to me, and I'm going through it. Before I spend the money on UV film for this windshield does it look like the rear view mirror is coming loose? If so, can it be repaired, or does it need new glass?

The pattern showing looks like something's not adhered properly. Anyone familiar? Rain sensor..?

Just leave it alone until it. It probably will never give you an issue. You would rather it fall off by itself instead of removing it. The glass can break trying to take it off.
