Default 997.2 Carrera S value. Track prepared! Considering GT3 Upgrade. Advice please.

I am considering a GT3 that a friend has modified, and perfected at the track. In order for this to happen, I would need to sell my 997.2 Carrera S 6-Speed to fund it. There is an option for our dealership to courtesy trade the car and thus I would save tax. But doing so, this would kill me to see this car go into a dealers inventory. This car is much loved and very well maintained. Car has <40k miles, and in my opinion is quintessential German, as it is Arctic Silver. My intent is to get some real value figures with this thread. This isn't an intention to put a "feeler" out there, just yet. Factory Options are:

If you decide to part it back to stock and want to trade for any stock parts, let me know.
Nice car though.

Your car is nearly identical to mine in mods. 95%. It's obviously prepped for the track with parts that even as good as they are were not designed and tested together like a car from the factory. And that's what you'll get from the GT3. A car designed to be on the track.

You're also in a near identical position as I am. However, I just can't let go of my GTS. It's too special and will be my son's someday. It's literally the only reason I haven't already swapped to a GT3.

The 997.2 GT3 is at or near the bottom of its depreciation curve barring a big recession. You can feel safe parking your money in it. This is assuming the one you're picking up will be used similarly to how the PO used it.

If I were in your shoes and the friend's GT3 had the right options for the right price I think I'd have to do it.

I will say that a car that highly modified will have a limited market. If you have the time and the original parts, take it back to stock as much as possible or spend the coin and have a shop do it. You'll come ahead in selling the parts you took off, you'll expand the market for your car and believe it or not, you'll likely get more for it from a dealer. In fact, the dealer might take your car back to stock and try to sell off the parts. Not uncommon.

Posting the VIN will really be the only way for members to give an accurate value. Otherwise, you'll get a pretty big standard deviation.
Depending on condition and history a 997.2 6MT C2S with mid 30k miles could go anywhere from upper $40s to upper $50s or even $60k to the right buyer.

I'll echo the above. It's a very nicely modded car, and would be 99% the same as mine provided I had the budget.
That said, based on what I've seen used parts listed for, to the right buyer, the seats and wheels alone could swing the value 25%. Unfortunately though that would put it pretty high, and it decreases your market.
