Default Any Speed Lingerie users?

I've searched and found very little recent info on these nose covers. Anybody use one?

I'm not a fan of the clear bras. My hood has a few nicks in it already. I just want to have something to throw on for the long drives.

Thanks

I am experimenting with xpel trac wrap this weekend at mid ohio. Supposed to be a temporary ppf. Easy to install and easy to remove. Will be interesting to see how it holds up to 2 days of track and a 300 mile commute to and from the track. Might be an option for you as well.

I used a speed lingerie bra for about the last five years. It was a lot of protection and I love it. However, I think I left it on too long without cleaning out the sand and debris that accumulates in the area of the front fender. When I took the bra off last fall after an extended period of time, I found some paint abrasion on the lip of the fender. It was invisible from the outside of the car, but during a wash it was really obvious to me. It was easily repaired with touch up paint, but I haven’t used the bra this spring....yet. I will still use it for longer trips and to protect from bugs. I will make sure to take off the bra every few days to make sure I am not damaging the paint.

Note...if you get one it is a pain to install at first. Be sure that it is warm.
Good luck.

So it finally came. PIA to install and still needs to settle down. Appears to be a hi quality item. Will report after some use.

XPEL Tracwrap is the way to go. When using the leather bra though, just be sure that the surface is completely clean, otherwise any little piece of dust or dirt will scratch.

Default Not even bug season yet

Took a 200 mile drive. Left the cover on for 2 days. Removed it today to wash the car, no wear marks or paint damage. It did a great job of keeping the bugs off the paint and out of the radiators. So far very happy with it.

I've not used Speed Lingerie, but I have used Colgan. Great quality. I'd advise as others have about taking care of the paint under it. Be sure it's clean and has a good coat of wax on it. Also, I never let the bra dry on the car. If it got wet, off it came until dry. Then re-prep paint and reinstall.
