2 cars: swapping rear muffler for bypass and vice versa: parts needed?
Hi,
I am swapping my rear muffler with a fellow PCA guy who has the Sharkwerks bypass pipes installed and wants to go back to stock.
What do I need to complete the swap? Are there any fasteners that can't be reused? My car is an AZ car with no corrosion: his has lived in the PNW its entire life and seen rain, so it probably has some corrosion on it. I am trying to plan ahead, as we are having a shop do it and have a 2-hour window to get the swap completed. I don't want to be short on parts.

The fasteners CAN be re-used if they don't disintegrate when you remove them - exhaust hardware tends to rust quickly even if there is no body rust on the car. The heat is hard on it. Get some ARP stainless fasteners to replace them with.
Also might be worth replacing the gaskets. You can likely get away with not doing them, but they are not super expensive and can help prevent an exhaust leak from an old gasket.
