On a 2008 997 with no sunroof would it be a deleted option code?

I had checked into it as I HATE sunroofs.
We in the US were forbidden from deleting sunroof in 997 generation (unlike 996)
No amount of money could get rid of the infection.
Roof panel runs $700. Remove glass front and rear, drill out spot welds, etc, etc to replace.
Biggest issue is the headliner. Only one that fits is black alcantara from the GT3 RS. As of 2 years ago,.. only 2 available in the world. One in US,.. one in Germany. Something like $1,700. + shipping.
