997 Factory Tour
This was the best 45 minutes I've spent in front of a screen in ages:
Though dumbed down for pop culture, it's a great inside look at the 911 factory while the 997.2 was being built. I want all the 911 variants now. Even more so. I'll bet the autonomous carts that Porsche designed/patented/built for the factory were a great playground to learn about battery technology... I'm sure it's been posted before, but it's new to me! Is there a consolidated list of awesome videos like this? |
Thanks for posting. I’ll add it to the following later today: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...l-reviews.html And then separately, here’s the official website for the episode (S3E4) http://channel.nationalgeographic.co...sodes/porsche/ Karl. |

That's a fantastic compilation thread! Thanks for putting in the effort.
If you know of other articles or videos to add, please update that thread. Thanks. Karl. |
Thanks for posting the YouTube link! The automated yellow parts carrier robots remind me of those little rolling droids from Star Wars.... |
