Help value my 997.1
Hi everyone!... I inadvertently posted this thread in the gt3/gt2 forum... so reposting here.
I need some help in valuing my 2008 C2S X51. I am considering selling to make room for my gt3t arriving in April. Ok, the build is:
GT Silver w full tan hides, sport steering wheel & short throw 6-speed MT, heated sport seats, Bose, Nav, 19” sport wheels w spacers & new tires.
Original owner. 25 K miles. Always garaged & superb in/out. No accidents. Any thoughts?
As an aside, I test drove 991 C4S cab w MT last week while at my dealer, and though very nice, I was surprised how much more of a GT the 991
is vs my 997. My C2S definitely feels more visceral and raw in comparison to the C4S, and honestly, is more fun; though I can see how the 991 is more adept for long distance cruising... how the 911 has evolved over the years!

Three Wheelin'
Here you go. A 2007 X51 w/ PCCB brakes and 40k miles went for $50k on BaT a couple weeks ago. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...1-carrera-s-6/
I was pretty impressed how furious the last day, and last few minutes, of bidding was. Given the action I would consider using BaT if you do sell yours.

The sticky wicket is getting a value on the X51 kit on the used market. Im sure others can chime in with a number. Once you have that, do a nation wide search for 2007 C2S manuals and add on the x51. I would hold out for the spring weather to take hold as prices always rise in the spring for sports cars.
