Default Gotta stop Looking at this forum!

My new to me, beautiful meteor metallic grey over terra cotta has been put away since November, and as we experience a real winter here in the Northeast for the first time in a long time, I just read the threads, look at the pictures, and so desperately want to get my car out of storage and just drive! This place makes me miss it more and more.

Dayum, gotta stop stopping by here, and allow myself to just forget about it for another month or so

I thought I could seal it up and wait. I couldn't! Granted, in Philly we are having a fairly mild winter but I have little self-discipline when it comes to the car.

Western PA gets hit hard most winters. I grew up 20 miles NW of the 'Burgh. Hang in there!

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we're having a mild but relentlessly wet winter. It's possible to get the beast out every day, but it sure gets dirty. Today was the first glimpse of the sun in a month so I spent a couple of hours doing a modest detailing and then just driving around squinting from the glare off that new shine - NICE!!!

I’m in Philly too. There’s a cars and coffee in Malvern this weekend. I might drive out to check out the cars.

Jeez; a CnC in Philly this weekend! I had no idea that the climate was that different on the other side of the Alleghenys. I'm jealous.

Looking forward to Hershey in April, though. We have a group that caravans over on Friday. Mostly my 928 friends. I'll be taking the 997 this year though, so maybe some of you folks will stop by to say hello? I'll be parked in the peoples choice concours area near the sharks and other 911s (not looking to win anything, just to be near the guys I hang out with).

This year we are having a real winter. It just keeps coming. 30 mins east and west of us there is no snow. Darn Lake Huron streamers.

I would trade you some heat and sun for some of your curves and snow.

Gotta love the lake effect "streamers". Hang in there, things should start to improve in about a month. 😎

I haven't done a CnC yet (in my first 911 under year) but want to get involved. It's supposed to rain heavily on Sunday, so I think I'll wait for a clearer day.

How does one find out about these "cars and coffee" events? PCA?

I grew up in Sharon/Hermitage (or what's left of it). Now in Philly. Way more sun in Philly that's for sure.

Peace

This is the current location for the West Chester Cars and Coffee. It is every Saturday morning. I haven't attended since the late Fall (when it was being held in Newtown Square) so I am not sure what attendance is like at the new location.

Location is at the Wegmans off of 202 in Malvern. There is a group on Facebook you can join to get more info.
