And you're absolutely right; I'm sporting 235/265 potenza S-04; the rubber gives up before the brakes do. I didn't consider the OP wants to go R compound. Are factory S calipers even up for that?
Right on. Gotta get that stress relief anyway you can. After a weekend away from the wife & kids, the last thing I'm going to get is a few extra hours alone with the 911.
