Seems like a stupid question, but now that I can't do it I would like to know. Maybe I'm missing something or some pieces. Have windscreen bag with two velcro pieces attached at the top, and a long strip of velcro. Metal tab at top. Crazy, but dealer had it done somehow when I recently bought it. Got a picture? RJ

Sorry, can't help - the bag didn't come with my car when I bought it. Getting a replacement was surprisingly pricey, and I usually just keep it installed anyway.

I think there is a little bar on the rear panel that you run the strap thru an back on to the Velcro on the bag

That is correct. You run the Velcro through the loop and back over itself to lock the windscreen to the rear wall so it doesn't bang around in the frunk.
